The single monk is characterized by a single strap coming across the upper of the shoe and meeting with a buckle. Original Goodyear welted and handcrafted, these single monks are made from high-grade crust calf leather. The crust is hand-painted by our artisans with the bi-color digital camo patina texture in grey, a modern approach to the classic camouflage pattern. They also feature a cognac leather sole and a full black calf-lined interior.

This pair is produced using our most famous shoe last, the Zurigo last, which features a round toe for a classic English look. Every pair of Robert August Single Monk Shoes are Handcrafted to order in our workshop in Almansa Spain, with a history of artisan shoemaking dating back to the early 18. Robert August uses only the finest leathers from tanneries in Italy, Germany, and Spain and sartorial fabrics from the most prestigious mills in Italy, France, and Belgium.
